Combine first 8 ingredients in a shallow baking dish; mix well. Add meat to marinade; cover and marinade overnight in refrigerator.

Remove chops from marinade, and place about 4 to 5 inches from coals. Grill over slow to medium coals 30 to 45 minutes or until chops are no longer pink, turning and basting occasionally. Yield 6 servings.
