Oatmeal with Raisins and Cinnamon

Source:   All New Cookbook for Diabetics and Their Families

  1. Combine water, salt, and raisins in a small saucepan; bring to a boil;
  2. Stir in oats and cinnamon.
  3. Reduce heat, and simmer 1 minute or until water is absorbed.
  4. Remove from heat, and serve warm.

    Each Serving Amount: 1/2 cup
