Spicy Sausage Pizza Dip

  1. In a large skillet cook Italian Sausage, onion, and garlic till meat is brown and onion is tender; drain well.
  2. In a 3 1/2- or 4-quart crockery cooker combine sausage mixture, tomato sauce, undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, sugar, and red pepper. Stir all ingredients together. Cover; cook on low-heat setting for 6 to 8 hours or on high-heat setting for 3 to 4 hours.
  3. Stir in Olives. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan Cheese. Serve with desired dippers.
    1. Makes 3 1/2 cups dip.

      Per serving: 106 calories, 6 g protein, 6 g carbohydrate, 7 g total fat (2 g saturated), 19 mg cholesterol, 472 mg sodium, 298 mg potassium.
