Sunflower Seed Cookies

Source:  Favorite recipes from Our Best Cooks Ketchikan, Alaska

Cream butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Add flour, salt, soda, oatmeal and sunflower seeds - mix well. Drop by teaspoonsful. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Makes about 9 dozen.

**NOTE: May use unsalted sunflower seeds and add 1/2 teaspoon more salt.
