Peanut Butter Topping for Ice Cream

This recipe was tested in a 700 watt microwave.

  • Combine brown sugar, karo syrup, butter and salt in a 1 1/2 quart microwave safe baking dish. Cover and microwave on high for 4 minutes or until mixture boils, stirring twice.
  • Add peanut butter and stir until smooth.
  • Stir in evaporated milk.
  • Serve warm over ice cream.
  • Cover and store any remaining sauce in refrigerator.
