Sour Milk Ginger Cake

  • Cream butter and sugar thoroughly, add egg and molasses, blend.
  • Add next five ingredients, sifted, alternately with milk; beat until smooth.
  • Pour into 9X13-inch pan and sprinkle top with sugar and cinnamon.
  • Bake in moderate oven (350°F) for 45 minutes.

    Serves about 15 people.
