Orange Slice Cake

| 3 1/2 | C | Flour |
| 1/2 | tsp | Salt |
| 1 | lb | Orange slice candy |
| 8 | oz | Dates |
| 2 | C | Pecans |
| 3 1/2 | oz | Coconut |
| 1 | C | Butter |
| 2 | C | Sugar |
| 4 | | Eggs |
| 1 | tsp | Soda |
| 1/2 C + 2 | Tbsp | Buttermilk |
| 1 | C | Orange juice |
| 2 | C | Powdered sugar |
- Cut up orange slices, Dates and nuts. Add coconut and cover
with 1/2 cup flour.
- Cream butter; add sugar, eggs, and buttermilk mixed with soda, then
add rest of ingredients.
- Bake in a greased and floured tube pan in 300 degree oven for 1 hour
and 45 minutes.
- ICING:Combine orange juice and powdered sugar and pour over
hot cake.
- Leave in pan overnight in refrigerator.
