This is a wonderful treat for the cool weather.  It also makes a good gift.  After making this last year and giving it to friends and family, several came around later not only to say it was the best they had ever used, but to ask if there was any left at our house. 

8	qt.	box Carnation powdered milk
12	oz.	jar coffee creamer
1½	lb.	box Nestles Quik
1	lb.	powdered sugar

Sift all ingredients together.  Mix well.  Store in airtight containers.

Fill decorative containers for gifts or use regular pint canning jars with a pretty bow.

NOTE:  Another brand of powdered milk would work, but Carnation seems to be finer and have a more consistent texture.

For flavored chocolate use 6 oz. regular coffee creamer and 8 oz. flavored (Hazelnut, French Vanilla, Amaretto).  I know this adds up to more than 12 oz. but this is the size containers we found of coffee creamers. It makes a nice change of pace.
