This is the kind of coffee that they serve with beignets!  You can buy the coffee and the chicory premixed.

3 tbsps. finely ground French Roast coffee

3 tbsps. chicory

3 cups milk

cinnamon

sugar

In a coffee maker, place 4 cups cold water. Blend coffee with chicory and place in filter basket.  Brew coffee.  Meanwhile heat milk in saucepan.  Heat to scalding but do not boil.  When coffee has finished brew cycle, place half a cup of coffee in a cup and top with hot milk.  Garnish with cinnamon and serve sugar on the side.
