This recipe has been in my family for ages! I would make it and leave it in the basement to ripen!

Enough apricots to fill a gallon jar
4 cups sugar
1/5 of vodka or gin

• Wash and prick apricots with fork and place in gallon jar.
• Add sugar and fill with vodka.
• Let stand for at least 3 months in a dark place.
• When time it up, draw liquid through sieve - to capture the seeds and pulp.
• Enjoy! Makes enough for a long winter!!
